OLÉ FC Men Head to Orlando for Historic World Futsal Championships

The OLÉ FC Men’s Team is headed to Orlando, Florida, to compete on one of the biggest stages in American futsal history.

OLÉ is honored to be one of only eight clubs invited to participate in the inaugural World Futsal Championships Pro Division, taking place July 17–19, 2026, at the Orange County Convention Center.

Presented by United Futsal, the tournament is being promoted as the first professional futsal prize tournament in United States history. Eight teams representing four nations will compete over three days, with the champion claiming a $50,000 winner-take-all prize.

The field features established professional clubs and elite futsal programs, including Brazilian powerhouse Vasco da Gama. The Pro Division is being led by tournament commissioner Ricardinho, a FIFA Futsal World Cup champion, six-time Best Player in the World and one of the most decorated players in the history of the sport.

For OLÉ, the invitation represents another important step forward for our professional program and an opportunity to represent Grand Rapids, West Michigan and our entire OLÉ community on an international stage.

OLÉ FC Group-Stage Schedule

OLÉ will compete in Group B alongside Alianza Futsal, Galácticos Heredia and the Iowa Demon Hawks.

Friday, July 17

  • 11:00 AM — OLÉ FC vs. Alianza Futsal
  • 6:30 PM — OLÉ FC vs. Galácticos Heredia

Saturday, July 18

  • 1:30 PM — OLÉ FC vs. Iowa Demon Hawks

The tournament will then move into the knockout rounds on Saturday evening:

  • 5:00 PM — Semifinal 1
  • 6:30 PM — Semifinal 2

The two semifinal winners will advance to Sunday’s championship match, where the inaugural World Futsal Championships Pro Division title and the $50,000 winner-take-all prize will be decided.
