Grand Rapids, MI — OLé Futsal Club delivered a dominant performance at the recent School of Futsal Showcase, emerging as the tournament’s most successful program and reaffirming its position as a regional leader in youth futsal development.
Across a highly competitive weekend, OLé claimed seven championships—half of all divisions contested—and placed 10 of its 16 teams in championship matches, a remarkable showing that reflected both depth and consistency across age groups and genders.

Beyond the trophy count, the weekend served as a clear validation of OLé’s long-term approach: high-repetition training, small-group technical development, and a curriculum rooted in decision-making, creativity, and confidence on the ball. Teams consistently displayed composure under pressure, tactical awareness, and a shared identity that translated across courts and age levels.
“Our goal has never been just to win weekends,” said Juan Fernandez, Director of Outreach for OLé. “This is about building players who understand the game, love the game, and are prepared for the next challenge—whether that’s the next age group, the outdoor season, or higher levels of competition.”
The School of Futsal Showcase brings together top programs from across the region and is widely regarded as a proving ground for clubs committed to true futsal principles. OLé’s performance underscored the effectiveness of its development pathway and the collaborative work of its coaching staff, athletes, and families.
As the club looks ahead to the remainder of the futsal calendar and into the outdoor season, the message from the Showcase was unmistakable: OLé Futsal Club isn’t just participating in the region’s growth—it’s helping define the standard.
