OLÉ Wins Three USYF Lakeshore Regional Championships
JANUARY 28, 2026 — GRAND RAPIDS, MI
This past weekend, OLÉ Futsal Club competed at the 2026 USYF Lakeshore Regional Championships, and the results spoke for themselves. Against a strong field of regional competition, OLÉ brought home three regional titles and earned four spots at the USYF National Championships this summer.
Teams battled hard across every division, demonstrating tactical understanding, competitive resilience, and the OLÉ identity that comes from intentional training and elite-level execution.
🏆 REGIONAL CHAMPIONS
OLÉ FC 2014 Girls Black
OLÉ FC 2013 Girls Academy
OLÉ FC 2012 Girls Academy
Each of these squads advanced through challenging qualifier brackets to earn their championships and secure their place at Nationals this season.
🥈 REGIONAL FINALIST
OLÉ FC 2017 Girls Academy — competed up in the 2018 Boys division, finished as a finalist, and punched their ticket to Nationals with a strong weekend performance.
OLÉ was the only club in Grand Rapids this year to produce three regional champions in USYF National Qualifier divisions — a distinction that underscores the club’s development philosophy and competitive depth.
Across the event, players and coaches showcased strategic growth, elite technical skill, and consistent mental strength — hallmarks of the OLÉ program and standards that will be on full display this summer on the national stage.
WHAT’S NEXT
All four qualified teams — the 2014 Girls Black, 2013 Girls Academy, 2012 Girls Academy, and 2017 Girls Academy — will represent OLÉ and Grand Rapids at the 2026 USYF National Championships this summer.
Congratulations to every player, coach, and family who contributed to this achievement. The work is paying off, and the road continues.
Built Different.
