Two OLé Players Called Up to Represent USA at 2025 CONCACAF W Futsal Championship

GRAND RAPIDS, MI —

The OLé legacy continues to grow on the international stage.

We’re proud to announce that Citlali Luna and Kiersen Korienek, standout players from the OLé Women’s Pro Team, have been officially named to the U.S. Women’s Futsal National Team roster for the 2025 Concacaf W Futsal Championship, held April 28–May 4 in Guatemala City.

This marks a historic moment for both players and a major milestone for OLé’s women’s program.

“To see our players step onto the international stage is exactly what OLé was built for,” said Head Coach Fabián Rodriguez. “Citlali and Kiersen represent the heart of what we believe in—high-level, joyful futsal with courage and class.”

🇺🇸 U.S. Women’s National Team Journey

The U.S. team competed in Group B at the inaugural CONCACAF W Futsal Championship, facing off against Honduras/Nicaragua, Costa Rica, and Canada. Despite a strong showing, the U.S. fell 3–1 to Canada in the final group stage match, finishing third in their group and narrowly missing a spot in the semifinals.

The tournament served as a qualifier for the first-ever FIFA Women’s Futsal World Cup, set for November 2025 in the Philippines. While the team’s run ended earlier than hoped, the experience laid the foundation for the future of women's futsal in the U.S.

“Being selected is just the beginning,” said Citlali Luna. “Representing OLé and the U.S. at the international level was an incredible honor—and it’s only made me hungrier.”

OLé Futsal Club is proud to be one of the only programs in the country developing female futsal talent from youth to pro, and now to international competition.

“We built this club to compete at the highest levels,” said club founder Fabian Rodriguez. “Now, our players are doing exactly that.”
